      Hi

I have got a model with some szenes. Each szene shows a scaled part of the last one (factor 10-3). When I come to the last szene, the geometry is no more correctly shown. It seems to be sliced. Can I change some settings that this does not occur?

        Hi Kurt,

This is typical clipping. See the causes there - in your case, the whole model seems to be too big (some 1,4 km).

You can (somewhat) help with this by scaling it smaller and moving the whole thing closer to the origin. in my below example I scaled it to 0,1 than moved everything so that the biggest component's middle is now at the origin but still get some clipping when zooming in the last scene.

What you can still do here is to press the Z button and holding the Shift key, change your FOV to something lower by pulling the cursor UPwards on the screen.

The real solution would be to delete the big component when you are zoomed in enough and it cannot be seen anyway. Of course, this is only good if you are exporting it as an animation and not presenting it live...

See an attached version (scaled down, FOV changed in the last Scene but somehow I missed a step it seems and I do not know what should be shown in the first scene but you can get the idea...)

Yes, that is exactly the problem. If it was my goal to create a movie, this workaround would be perfect. But I would like to give the possability to hover around and explore it. I will see, if I can let it the way you suggested.
