3D logo design ??? HELP HELP

I designed this logo in photoshop then tried to model it in SU....
How do I extrude this logo to the thickness of the board ?? HELP

Do you mean you would like to turn these letters into 3D text?
From here it seems that you have a simple raster image with red letters on a transparent background.You need to turn the raster image into vector geometry. In SketchUp, the only way to go is to trace the letters around with any of the available drawing tools.
OR you can try to use this plugin:

It is basically for a kind of height map but I guess it would (somehow) work on simpler raster images as well. Probably you'll need a little bit of clean-up but I guess it would be feasible. -
