Get_datfile_info

This is clear as mud.
Does anyone know what Sketchup.dat is or what Sketchup.get_datfile_info does

The file seem to be a config file of SU.

Possibly it could be used to brand SU - but as the file warns - it'll be overwritten upon SU updates...
