Motherboard render

Hi Guys,
Had a bit more fun with Arion Render tonight. I downloaded the model and applied the textures in around 10 minutes. Each render took 10 minutes also.
Hope you like it!

Very detailed, looks just like the real thing! Nice job.

Thank you, detail is down to the person who modelled it so all credit goes there, not to me

That looks really good. You could sell it on EBay.

Now there's an idea! However, the negative feedback from just selling a picture might not be worth it
Thanks for the comment

Very nice render, but the price for the one (795 EUR) is really high.

Hi,
It isn't cheap, and if it had to come out of my own pocket I would go for something like twilight which gives great value and performance. The thing that sold it to us is the speed, saves us so much time that the cost is offset in man hours saved so it's worth it. It integrates very well into sketchup so the work flow is very simple and logical.
The interface takes a bit of getting used to but having access to the fryrender materials library really helps to speed things up. You don't have to create a lot of materials as someone has normally uploaded a suitable one.
There are several GPU renderers about to break into the marketplace which will be a lot less that Arion. Will be very interesting to see who gets the crown in the end. Thea is looking incredible and a very fair price. I think that will be my private choice eventually. I didn't get on with Octane very well, but that is almost at commercial release phase now so let the battle begin!
