Layout Files don't auto-open with Layout
-
I use Sketchup 7 Pro on XP A LOT for playground design and rendering. The other day for the hell of it I finally uninstalled earlier version Sketchup 6 Pro, and the result is that all of my Layout file icons turned generic, and double clicking gives me the "open with" dialog, where Sketchup and Layout are not listed as options, nor have I been able to add them by "browse". The model icons are fine and open fine. I can only open a layout file by starting layout (2.1) and then browsing to the file - which works. I noticed that the layout files have the extension .layout.document...
Any XP users out there know how to re-associate (hundreds) of layout files with layout? (other than re-loading Sketchup)
Many thanks in advance,

In what way does 'browse' not let you re-associate the files? cant think why it wouldnt work.

Never mind on this one, I just noticed that version 8 is out so I'll upgrade and reloading should fix the problem.
Thanks all the same!
Scott
