New engine!

Hmmm...the render dissapeared in the middle of the rendering process. How crazy is that. As it stands it can render relatively simple stuff.
Thanks Michalis. -
The post is hard to find. It is in a popup as below:

Yes but it's for the 3Dmax version! And it was the previous year!
Now it's the half price 21 JUNE 2010
And nothing is writed for Sketchup version
Maybe that will the half of the Max Version -
This video shows real-time rendering using SmallLuxGPU and Blender 2.5. 6:20 minutes onwards
A freeware project... Just buy the SU pro version and export as obj to blender.
About shaderlight a cost of ~$200 is reasonable.

Happy to be wrong

Hi Guys,
Just to confirm as James mentioned, Shaderlight for SketchUp will be $199.
As James also mentioned in the earlier post it will contain several different light options, so will be able to create interior renders or add some feature lights to an external render. There will also be some other lighting options available to.
We are looking in to some of the problems people have mentioned on this thread, particularly the crashing these get highest priority in development. If you do see any problems please email support@artvps.com and the guys will look at what is going on. But we will be on the forums answering as much as we can.

Just wanted to post an image done with our internal version of Shaderlight for SketchUp. As you can see we have a few different light options and also more bump controls. Going to be rendering with GI soon, so will post up results on that.

Shaderlight for SketchUp
I have seen this thread and will be upfront that I work for ArtVPS who is developing Shaderlight. I can confirm that Shaderlight will have the ability to place light sources in a model, we have 5 different light options including IES profiles, so you will be able to quickly place the light profiles to give realistic lighting information. We have also included a new Physical Sky system, which will be a much more realistic version of the SketchUp shadow system. I am going to be at Basecamp next week and will have a slot presenting Shaderlight. But if anybody is there and would like to see the near complete version of Shaderlight I would be happy to sit down and show the software and answer direct questions, I will buy the coffee. Martin
