License Help!
-
Hello all,
I am new to this forum and I am desperately looking for some help. I have tried contacting Technical Support, other forums,... no help yet.My office has a 2 user network license for Sketchup Pro 6. We are currently experiencing a problem where when anyone tries to use sketchup, you get an error message saying "EXCEEDED_USERS".... even when no one is running Sketchup! Has anyone ever dealt with this problem before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have a single licence and sometimes I get the message if I have Su running on the office comp and the laptop at the same time.
However it doesnt affect either instance functionally.

I am a little fuzzy on this, but as it happens, my office has the same situation. This is not necessarily an answer, but it may point you in the right direction.
You can have multiple instances of Sketchup 6 free, as far as I know throughout the office. But you must port the license to whichever machine will utilize it at that time.Hopefully, there are others here who do this, and who can elaborate on this.
And it was my understanding that this does not violate any policies set by Google.
If not, I will be watching this thread and inform my office. -
