      Hello and help!
I'm trying to intersect some layout lines drawn in autocad with a sketchup face( also from acad).
I exploded the component once it was imported from acad, selected all and Intersect selected.
Some of the lines work, some don't.. I need all to work.
      Any help please!

        Hi Simon,

        There may be several reasons.

        • The lines are not coplanar (in this case you can try draping them onto the face rather than intersecting).
        • the lines do not form a closed loop - try to draw "diagonals" to identify such places
        • there are some stray lines protruding from the edge perimeters (the above solution may help again).
There are some plugins (some commercial but not too expensive) over Smustard that were designed to fix these issues (that generally come from somewhat sloppy modelling in CAD):

          http://www.smustard.com/script/Flatten

        Gai...
