Cannot select planes/ objects
-
hi,
my problem is following -
on one particular computer (win XP, core2duo 2.4, 2gb ram, built-in intel g35 videochip)i cannot select planes/ objects for moving, colouring etc. with a single click onto it. but, when i pull over the cursor over, it is selected, unfortunately, there are other things that are behind and nearby are selected as well and deselecting with the previously mentioned problem leads nowhere.what might be the solution?

Hi k-be and welcome!
Try disabling hardware acceleration under Window > Preferences > OpenGL settings.
If it "seems" to fix your issues, you need to update your video driver (or get a good video card at all) otherwise SU will be much slower than with HW acceleration on.

thanks, it is working fine now.
edit:
i had selected "correct reversed picking driver bug". -
Is that still among the options?
Sorry, I could not remember when it was removed. You obviously have version 7.0 (me 7.1 and it is not there any longer).
And yes, that is also a good choice for certain video cards.
