I am planning on purchasing SketchUp Pro 7 , but need to first purchase a new PC laptop to support it. What does anyone suggest? HP? Dell? Anything else? Thanks!

the main thing is a dedicated nvidea graphics card as opposed to an integrated one,
and for me the next thing is a large screen.

are you using any other design software?
              i went dell precision m6400.
              portable workstation, 17".
not light. not very laptop-able for very long.
              power block is a brick.

but i need it for work on the road - 3d in sketchup and autocad / hsb.

i also looked at lenovos, but was wary about graphics card compatability with autocad (and there were some quality issues in their forums... and i looked at hp and mac. for the mac, was ready to order and do dual boot when needed for acad - but a client hooked me up with their dell corporate account and i couldn't pass up the deal i got on this machine.
