Basecamp on Facebook
-
Our friend Csaba has started a 3d Basecamp 2010 facebook page.
Csaba how about enabling pics on it and maybe we can upload some of the last Basecamp.

Good idea Ross, Will you look like this when you arrive or will you shave your face...?

Neat.

Hm. It's not really a "page" but an "event". I really do not know the difference but it seems that there is the possibility to upload photos (and videos and add links).

I am not a facebook guru so I do not know but do you, others, also have those icons there? If not, is there a way I can "share" the event so that you can also add things? Or how about me creating a Picasa webalbum and share it with whoever is attending in a way that everyone can upload photos into that album? Then (if you set it so), whenever you upload something, will appear on Facebook, too.
Then I can make a neat slideshow of these albums over The Daily CatchUp (just like in this post). You can even go full-screen with that slideshow. -
Csaba, a Picasa album would work well, I think. Better than Facebook for this situation.

Ditto, I think it would be more relevant to the SU community rather than FB.....

OK, I made the Picasa album (for the time being) and split the posts off this topic:
