I have (from here I think) a couple of plants from top. As I am not an architect, I do not make use of them so decided to create a LayOut Scrapbook of them to share.

Note that a LO document is actually a zip file so if you rename the extension, you can access the png files inside and use them as you wish.

Also, they are pretty big but especially for this above reason I did not want to resize them - if they are not really "scrapbook weight", edit them the same way as above and resave.

The default place for scrapbooks (on myXP) is here but you need not really fiddle with the Application folder (by default a system folder and as such, hidden):
      C:\Documents and SettingsCsaba\Application Data\Google\Google SketchUp 7\LayOut\Scrapbooks

I may. ATM they are rather high res. now (some 4000-8000 pixels wide and such). Did you downsample them before creating the treelines (and if so, how big) or are they in the original size?

                Rename the *.layoutextension to *.zip.

The same with kmz and skm files - they are both simply zip archives just with a different extension.

The tree lines are original size between 3000 and 8000 pixels wide from cgtextures.com. They were originally jpegs which I edited and converted to PNGs. Average file size is around 10-13mb. I have no idea how they render so well, normally large images crash SU/render apps. ❓

Csaba, for the plan view plants, can you not just save them as PNGs?if ppl are having difficulty...

They are png's (with transparent background) I think I got them from the pack that was published here saying "2Gb of textures".
