DWanimations First small VRay 1.48 project...

Nice images Dirk, though I have found some area's that I suggest you could improve.
- Stair stringer timber material mapping is wrong and should run parallel with the pitch of stair.
- The top surface of the timber unit in the top image (bottom left) looks odd and should be rotated 90 degree's
- Your timber beams show a fixing (bolt & square plate) which you have shown timber. Shouldn't these be a metal?
- Your ceiling is showing a fair bit of splotches, you need to up your Irradiance map HSph's and samples to clear it.
-
Whow , this is looking good very good.
-
these are really clean and brilliant renders, mate.
-
This is great! Your works are very inspiring man, they have some sort of 'mood' in them
-
Dirk, fantastic images again! This mood it's your trade mark. Regarding anti-aliasing, I don't think you have an issue with it. It's just vray , sampling those bright pixels ( the problem appear just in bright area/surfaces, right?).
Be sure to check "clamp output" and "sub-pixel mapping". That should do the trick!
Cheers! -
Ah! Forgot about that!
-
wow... aside from those few small small texturing fixes, these are awesome!! great work..
-
WOW nice looks realy cool.

Hi All thanks your your great tips/compliments/critics...
I appreciate it. I was fine tuning the render a bit.
-changed some materials.
-tried to remove the spots on the sealing.(used HSph. Subdivs 999) :SThe carpet is done by the fur plugin and I have to say, if used correctly you can great a better effect than displacement.. but I am sting learning how to use it because is very hard for Vray to render it without crashing.
the textures of for the beams are from: http://www.cgtextures.com/
and the plant is from the 3DwarehouseAlso I did a test in PS to create a evening mood without rendering a new picture... just using PS, pleas let me know what you think..?
