Change all layers to 0
-
Is there a ruby script to change all layers in a selected compomnent or group to zero that works similar to the remove all materials. Ive imported an acad drawing with a ridiculous amount of unecessary layers and need to quickly change them all to layer zero or some specified layer.
-
Just delete the layers and select "Move contents to Default Layer" when it prompts you.

I get the feeling theres enough layers to make that pretty tedious...

Bulk select layers..?

Didnt realise you could do that! one for the 'Doh' thread

Had that not been possible I'd be a real pain to import DWGs. It's one of my standard procedures when I import DWG of removing that long list of layers that I usually never need. -
Thanks Tom,
I'll try this out. -
