      Hi,

      Just trying to get my workflow into using Layout for presentation, however, stumbling on a couple of things, so, can anyone tell me if;

      a) You can 'lock' viewports so that no amount of updating the SU models can affect the individual image.

      b) Can you 'turn off' layers in various viewports? So for example, could I turn off, say "building" and "grass" layers?

      Sorry, if i'm asking stupid questions!

        Hi Lee,

        1. you can disable automatic updating of the view although this is not really "locking"
        2. use scenes with different layers turned on/off. Correct use of scenes is the best strategy in any LO workflow.
          Make sure that when updating a scene, you also update the style with it.

          Many thanks Gaieus, using Scenes with LO had never really clicked with me before. 👍

          Could you shed light on how a) would be achieved for a particular viewport?

          Thanks again.

            I think you can only disable it globally, not just for one viewport.
            However, you can always save a SU file (as..." at a particular time and insert that into one particular viewport and stop "developing" that version and work only on another version of the model. Theoretically you can insert as many SU files into LO as you want.
