LayOut crashes
-
I have a scan, that I have saved on a separate document, made it a scrap book item, (it is an engineers stamp) I want this on every page of my working drawings.
I have tried to use as a scrap book item, linked, unlinked... then I tried to do a copy and paste....
I keep crashing LayOut...
what might be the issue?

What's the size (pixel width and height + color depth) and format (tiff, jpg, bmp, png) of the scanned stamp?
Have you tried to save the scanned image to another format and then reload it in Layout? -
Thanks for the tip,
my file is both in Tiff and jpeg, the jpeg being the smaller of the two images.
I have tried to "embed" the file, too. and that seems to not work either.
I currently stuck as when I put this in my layer "on everypage" LayOut crashes.
Should I try to save the scan in a different application, crop it there and maybe copy and paste?
Scrapbook seems like it should be easier and more straight forward to do.
thanks again, I will endeavor to keep trying to figure this out.

I restarted my computer, opened LayOut, I did one copy and paste, it worked, I was half way thru doing this for 25 pages, it crashed again, none of that work was saved.
Now I try this again, I can cut and paste, save as I go, but it crashes constantly, though I now have the "documentation" I need, it just is not stable...how to fix this?

One specific page will make LayOut crash everytime.
What might I do to "sort this issue out"? -
If the problem is on a specific page, try this:
-
copy the content of that page and paste it to a blank page in a new document, then save it.
-
delete that page from you original document, and remake it again - importing (copy&paste) the saved data.
This might fix it. Sometimes it worked for me.
If, as I think, your problem is that the memory gets full, you may split your document in two or more parts. 25 pages are a lot for Layout.
Have you tried it on another computer?
Let me know.
