Why is the UK singled out for this censorship - it's not China after all ???

i don't think it's censorship per se.. something money/copyright/business related i'm sure.. we (u.s.) can't see a lot of uk based content either..

It is censorship in that we are being prevented form seeing something [innocuous] that others see quite freely.
It doesn't really matter whether it's UK v US or vice versa - what happened to openness, freedom-of-information, free-speech etc - China isn't a 'free' country... but supposedly 'we' are ?
Makes me wonder what else we aren't being allowed to see by 'them' ?? Just because I'm paranoid it doesn't mean that they aren't out to get me ! -
ha-- here's one i can't view in 'my area' so maybe you all can see it across the pond
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-daily-show-with-jon-stewart/4od#3057603
it says 'programmes' so i'm sure you can
-
That's from More4 - a UK channel - so as expected we can see it OK...
-
is it the right clip? jon stewart going on an apple tirade?
hope so because u.s. viewers shouldn't be the only people to enjoy that one.. -
this happens a lot here in canada too. i couldn't view the original url luckily it had a link to the canadian site. here its the crtc (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) that have a bunch of bullshit rules about canadian content bla bla bla we can't even get straight american satellite tv i believe the rule is something like "has to be one canadian channel for every foreign one" or some such crap! the canadian channels just mostly rebroadcast american shows anyways?????? so it really boils down to WHO can spoon feed us the crap! i gave up on tv anyway. the fact that you have to pay (overpay) to be bombarded by 20+ mins per hour of comercials is more than i can bear! if they want me to watch they'll have to provide free tv. i mean really, if you pay for satellite radio you don't have to listen to commercials??? what the hell!

I checked with 'them' and yes, they are out to get you. You specifically. Sorry about that; the computer is down and there isn't much chance of getting the list fixed before the highly trained team of 'getters' gets you.

Yeah, the BBC World Website doesn't let non-UK users watch some videos...but by the time I find this, I figure I've been on the web too long anyway.
It was a classic Jon Stewart piece.
