Can't start Layout 2

I installed Layout 2 last week when I upgraded SU from 6.something to 7.1. When I start it, it displays the splash screen and I can see various components being loaded. Then I get a Windows dialog saying Layout has encountered a problem and needs to close. Any idea how to fix this? I'm a SU Pro user, but Google's been blowing me off for the last several days. Thanks.

Try to re_install sketchUp 7,
it should be the latest version : 7.1.6860
Layout 2.1.6860 is inside it.

I had this same problem too.
are you on a Mac or PC? You mentioned windows dialogue, youre going to have to fully uninstall any previous version of SU. this also means going in and finding any tidbits in program file folders. This operation is alot easier on a Mac. -
