My circles only have a few segments, looks bad
-
I would like to know how to smooth out these circles. Like this one with a 15 ft radius. Why is it shown with line segments?

Sketchup displays circles, arcs, and curves with segments. It is apparently part of the ways in which the program has been simplified for its original purpose. Sketchup is a quick visualization tool, and was always intended as that.
Here is what you can do:
When you call the circle command, the default segment count is seen in the measurements box usually in the lower right corner. It should say 12. Immediately prior to starting the circle you can specify any number of segments. A practical number might be 20 or 36. If you have already done the circle, select it and type 20s, or 36s for instance. This will change the number of edges. You can also select the circle, then top menu Window> Entity Info> and edit the box with the segment count.
This should help. Others may also reply to flesh out anything I missed. -
Note however that you cannot change the segment count of your circle once you´ve done anything to it - like pushed/pulled it, for instance.
