How can i edit the terrain?
-
Hi!
I have to modelise my house for a school work. The problem I'm having is that the terrain isn't flat. The frontside of the house is about 2 metters higher than the backside.
When i have imported the image of google earth to sketchup, it gave me a flat terrain even when I actived the "toogle terrain" icon. Consequently, i can't modelise the back of my house because it's underground!
I tried the sandbox tool but it doesn't seem to be the good solution.Could you please help me finding a solution?
thank-you!

Hi aa and welcome!
Indeed the sandbox tools would be the best to use. Note however that the GE Terrain is a locked group. In order to edit it, right click > Unlock then you can double click on it to enter its editing context and only then you can use the sandbox tools.
I would suggest either the smoove tool or the stamp tool - depending "which end" of the task you grab first.
