Texture wrapping?
-
Ok. I know there is an easy way to do this but I can't seem to find it in the forums. Although I know it has to be here somewhere. Is there an easy way to to wrap a texture around a complex curved surface?
I appreciate any direction anyone can give me here. Seems I have spent more time searching the forum than actually modeling.

Thank you.

AHHH HAAA! You just made my day numbthumb. That youtube video you posted in that link is exactly what I needed. I will post a pic as soon as I apply my textures just to show you what you have helped me with.
Thank you so much numbthumb!

Alright numbthumb. This is what you helped me with. I know the leather texture is off but I just threw it on to give an idea until I know exactly what leather I am going to use when I build it. The wood is what you helped me figure out.
Thanks a ton!

Glad I could help. Although that video is about texture projecting, not wrapping ( as far as I can remember ).
Nevertheless, nice model indeed!
Cheers! -

Cheers!Well...ok...projecting then. Regardless, you helped me learn about wrapping and projecting. Neither of which I understood before so thank you. It was exactly what I was looking for.
