      Does anyone know how to do this?? I want to render my sketchup files. I'm using a mac. I read somewhere it needs to be exported as an FXB file, when I click export FXB isnt an option!

        Hello, Smegan,
        Exporting a model in .FBX format assumes that you are using SketchUp Pro.
        A kind of workaround to import it using the free version of SU: http://sites.google.com/site/alexvaqp/sketchupblender
        From Blender, you should be able to export it as .3ds or .obj and then to Maya (hopefully).
