Mouse wheel zoom has stopped working

Hi,
Lately, my mouse wheel zoom has stopped working, which really bugs me. I haven't been able to find a solution to this problem, nor have I heard of others that have encountered it.
Can anyone solve this one?

Sometime physic gears of wheel are used and you must change your mouse

try pointing your mouse to an object modeled, when the mouse is not working is because you're using the mouse
on an empty part of the drawing.
