Kolbe window components

When I move a window component on to the wall of my house it does not always cut out the face. The wall siding is still visible. I have tried moving the window in and out. I think it is positioned perfectly . Sometimes it does work. I downloaded the Kolbe windows from the warehouse. what am I doing wrong?

Note that
- once you placed a window on a plane, you cannot move it onto another plane and still retain its cutting feature (~most of the time). Insert a new instance from your component browser > In model
- Also, they wont glue/cut holes on grouped faces or curved surfaces.

Sometimes you have to manually cut the opening for the window, this saves times

Those Kolbe windows are not created right, some of them have reversed faces, bits on wrong layers etc. They have also not been made into components correctly, so try exploding the component, while it's still all hightlighted after exploding make it a component again this time select it to glue to vertical and check the cut opening option.
This will now work.
