Hi Adrian,
That thing is extremely small. SU has problems with creating faces whose edge would be about (or less) than a millimetre. Sacle it up by (say) 10, close the faces and scale back by 0,1.
I did it and it worked with your model. I also moved it to the origin so that you can orient yourself easier (and you were in upside-down view, too)
