damn ely862me that was quick. I saw you had some models for sale, ever think about selling a video tut for modeling things like this? I know I would be interested in something like that.

Thanks for the chair! Awesome!

I very much appreciate the opportunity to share the file!
I confess I had my doubts about the potential of certain plugins, but after watching some tutorials on youtube, I was excited to explore the new possibilities that offers the sketch!
Congratulations to the personal competence and humility!
If you make a tutorial will be fantastic for new studies!
Congratulations!

With SubSmooth. . .I think I have figured out how steps 2 and 3 were done. Step 1's the killer I think.
-
Unfortunately it s not very accurate ..depends on how u approach it..if u can keep it simple u may have a better result..

I have to confess that i thought it s gonna be an easy one..but after i started i changed my mind.
I even deleted one attempt when i was almost done because it was too complicated. -
It has been a real head scratcher for me to figure out how to do this Kimono Chair without SDS. The real issue has been keeping the face count low and visualizing the best method to create a skin that can later be given thickness.
This thread got me thinking of TIG's latest plugin Extrude Edges by Loft as a means of producing this chair. But again i'm stumped at how to approach this challenge.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to best apply TIG's Toolset (or any other method) it'd be greatly appreciated.
I enjoy the 'Model This' series and like to see a range of ways to achieve the same end product.
....I could also be ssooooo off the mark that i'll be the next 'Some Funny Pics' victim

Its a good thing that I won't be entering this
