hi there... I've just started learning podium for sketchup and i'm a little lost about bump maps. I tried following the tutorial in the podium homepage but everytime i change the material name to >example< grass_bump5.jpg from grass.jpg the texture becomes a solid color. Would really appreciate the help.. thanks

Are you creating a copy of the texture image and naming that xxx_bump5.jpg ? the duplication part is important, as podium needs a separate image for the bump and diffuse (coloured) textures.

p.s. you only need to post once.

ow I see. Sorry, that was my first time to post here. Anyway here's what I do with bump maps
          > i use the texture on the surface
          > then i add another copy in "in model" of the same texture
          > i change the name of the texture to xxx_bumpX.jpg - the texture then changes to a solid color. (like with bricks texture, when i change the name the texture changes to a solid brown color) Is that what's supposed to happen when i change the name?
