[Tutorial > Modeling] Aircraft

Well, I have been making quite a few aircraft now, so I decided to create a tutorial, so here it is.

Thank you for your time and work..I need all the help I can get...

Thanks for your time and work, indeed.
But wouldn´t it be easier to use a plugin ( Blend, for instance ) when connecting the ribs, instead of hand - stitching with the line tool?
A similar aircraft and a similar procedure, although a different program ( Amapi3D ) can be found here http://pagesperso-orange.fr/vincent.moyet-amalthea3d/html/building_a_p40.html
Thanks again! -
Hi numbthumb,
yes, you can use plugins for the meshing but for me the line tool creates the most accurate and the cleanest mesh. I took a look at that link, that could also be a way of modeling but with no groups/components. FYI, the aircraft in the tutorial is a hawker hurricane -

Well, then the other one must be the AVG Curtiss P-40B of the Chinese Air Force?

That link I have posted is just for some additional info on different approaches to modeling, that´s all.
I would really like to see more of your work.
I used to "hand-stitch" quite often, and it still works fine for me, at least on small surfaces. For a larger scale work, I prefer using plugins.
Cheers!
