      Hello Everyone,
I am new to the site and still pretty new to sketchup. Im working on trying to render some bottles and i cannot figure out how to get a smooth compound curve around the top of the bottle(where the cap screws on to the bottle). At this intersection there are several curves happening and they all blend into the cylinder shape at the cap.(see attached pdf) Any ideas one how to make this work? Thanks!

thanks for the insight into the screw thread! the main problem i am having is that i cant get a smooth transition from the form of the bottle(a filleted rectangle) into the cylinder...any thoughts?

use more segments. if you use the 3d arc tool read the status bar at the bottom for instructions.
