Driving dimensions plugin installed but not available?
-
I installed this:
http://download.cnet.com/Driving-Dimensions-for-Google-SketchUp/3000-6677_4-10906912.htmlThen when I opened sketchup, I expected to see a View->Toolbars->DrivingDimensions, but it is not there. I see a Plugins/ldd directory - how can I load the plugin?
Maybe someone knows if it is possible to do the following without the plugin:
I want to draw a line, then tell it "you should be 1' long". This is how I typically work in SolidWorks, and it would be nice to be able to do this in SketchUp.Thanks,
Dave

draw a line any length and before you do anything else type 12 (default inches or whatever units your using)then hit enter.

Ah, so easy.. haha that wasn't in any of the tutorial videos!
I guess I should still be concerned why the plugin didn't appear for future plugins sake?

you may have to go to http://drivingdimensions.com/SketchUp/ and look into it. maybe check their forum for advice.

Since when does that require a plugin?

Hello daviddoria,
What version of SketchUp and Windows do you use? Could you please download the plug-in directly from our website and install it again:
