Those Black Lines
-
Hey all,
Getting a bit frustrated, and could use some advice...I've designed/built (in SU 7 free version) an office for a friend.
I want to send her images of changes and ideas via e-mail with jpegs (she's not computer savvy). But when I export as JPEG, all the black lines are saved (and quite heavy) which takes away from the design.
Is there anyway to get a snapshot without the lines?
I'm trying to teach myself Indigo (is this a good option?), so I can render in the future, but learning is taking a bit too long for this project.
any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
cheers

I find it quickest just to grab a screen image.

Hi, arewenotjason
Are you referring to edges and profiles? There is an option to turn them off under View - Edge style. -
thanks chris, hadn't thought of that!
thanks numb, i've got 'profiles' turned off.
but without 'display edges' the drawing looks too flat...probably being too picky here
i guess i need 'some' black line, but not those chunky black corners... -
Hi Jason,
Try to export your images at a much higher (2-4x big) resolution then needed without antialiasing on (these settings can be found under the export options at the bottom right when opening the export window). Then resample them in a fairly decent image editor (which can do antialiasing). You will have thinner, finer and crisper edges (and just leave profiles off if you don't need them)

thanks Gaieus!
thanks all!
