Dimension text not showing
-
This is a bit odd. I have a large rectangle. I can pull a dimension line off one edge just fine. But then I draw a line near the edge across it, and try to pull a dimension line off the same edge -- but the new short section created by the new line. The dimension arrows are visible, but the text is not visible.
The text is there, though -- I can see the correct value if I right-click and choose Edit Text. The text is missing at any zoom level. (And I've been working with similarly-sized dimensions on other faces in this model, so it isn't a resolution thing, or the thresholds in the Model Info "expert" dimension settings or anything of that nature.)
I've deleted the lines and recreated them, I've saved and restarted... for some reason it just doesn't want to show that text.
I searched but didn't find any help requests or bug reports that appeared to be relevant or similar.

Hi MV10, hi folks.
Can you post the file ?
It may help to be able to investigate what is going on.
Just ideas.

Sorry, I don't have that version of the file any more. When I loaded everything up this morning the problem was gone, and now that particular object is heavily modified. Haven't seen the behavior since. Some driver fluke, I'd guess.

New to the forums (and fairly new to SU). I'm having the same problem, except there's just a little bit of the text visible - not enough to read, just sort of a 'ghost' of text. It's very strange, and frustrating. Any ideas?
