Shadows

I am having problems opening shadows to set time of month, hours, etc.
something I am doing wrong??? Something is not allowing me to open the
"shadow" dialog box listed under "window" settings.Help much appreciated!!!!

Have you tried. . .
View > Toolbars > Shadows? That keeps the toolbar open. Is that what you mean?
