Big Ben

Twilight mainly, it was a pig to get in to indigo because the model's so big.
-
Indeed, very nicely detailed model, Remus!
Did you not think of using some indifferent background colour instead of physical sky? I find that back or some grey looks quite nice with clay models (especially if you give the sun colour some very subtle warmth) -
Excellent looking model and well detailed.
-
Excellent work Remus. I bet Sir Benjamin Hall would have found this model very useful in his day.

Gai, probably would have been a good idea to play around with different backgrounds a bit, but as it stands i quite like the physical sky as it has a bit of a sense of scale.
Mike, not with all the details i missed!

Hell no! Have you seen the size of that thing? i think my brain would explode.
-
wow! you crazy man!
-
Terrific model - 10 star!
But to be technically accurate, Big Ben is actually a bell inside the clock tower ...
-
Remus, dude.
Wow.

Wow, very nice - I keep coming back to look again.

Amazing!
-
Wow. That's awesome! When you orbit, does it lag a second before it moves? Because that beauty looks very hi poly! To make it perfect, photo-realistic textures? That would definately look like it is actually a real photo. Stunned by the amount of work you put into that!
Cheers.

Outstanding!

Excellent modelling skills. The rest of the houses of parliament building has some crazy amount of detail to it, Sketchup would explode!
-
Well done!
-
Amazing Model - how many hours did that take you??
-
NIce model, Weemus!
-
Swindel, theres a bit of lag but its pretty workable.
Dermot, i cant remember exactly, but probably in the region of 20-25 hours actual modelling time.
