OK Which one (Render)
-
Ok guys and gals,
It is time that I get with the 20th century and get a renderer for sketchup. Here are my parameters:
- If what we mostly do is Landscape Architecture, which is the best renderer to do this?
- If I need a renderer to be real user friendly (ie, newbie to rendering like me) but is also powerful enough to do nice realistic renderings, which is the best renderer to do this?
- If I need a renderer that is used for both Mac and PC, which is the best renderer to do this? (It would be sweet to have the same renderer license be used on both platforms, but I know that is a pipe dream. It would be nice if the company offered a discount for buying a seat for each platform).
I know this is a subject to personal opinions, but I want to see what works for you. It's budget time and I'm just trying to get in what I think will help the company move forward.
Thanks in advance!
Rick

For this use SuPodium
Mac / Windows...same license
Great in exterior renderings
More than user friendly...like twighlight, which hasn`t a Mac version nowPodium starts with the new V2.0 ( beta ) which has also no Mac Version in beta stage, but the actual 1.7 works well on Mac and will be supported further. You won`t loose anything by buying it know, if you want to uprgrade to the new release later.
