I always get excited when I see you have posted something Tony. Your execution and use of SU is wonderful.

I like seeing what can be done in SU alone. Things like your fine window and trim work in the gable is accented by the lines, in a way not usually possible in PR images.

I prefer the glass texture in the dormer window glass to the gray. There is a lot of gray in the picture. In any case, this work is something for me to emulate, if I can.

nice, as pbacot, I guess having a landscape transparent image as the windows textures will add the reality of the pure su render, btw , it is very inspiring to me. thanx for sharing

i agree if it wasn't for the distraction of the crappy brick this would be perfect!

Majid, I would like to try out a landscape transparent image, like you suggest. Do you know where I can find such an image that I can apply on the glass?

yeah get any high res 'landscape' image from http://www.cgtextures.com or http://www.imageafter.com. you can also apply a semi transparent sky texture to the upper windows too (you may not need this if your landscape image has a nice sky). nice work! 👍

Nice job - but I agree with James about the repetition on the brickwork.
I have found that textures showing only horisontal joints work better at that distance.

You can retain the original texture for closer views.
