Sketchup Into 3DS Max 2010

Hi, I downloaded my extension connection for 3ds max 2010, and from the tutorial video it doesn't seem to work that easy, has any one used 3dmax with sketchup, any pointers? thanks

well i followed the tutorial on how to do it in 3dmax, but when i open my material library, it all comes in on one material, with submaterials, and when i go to modify those sub materials i cant change the scale of the material, and also i cant change the material to Arch & design
