PDF conversion
-
Hi All,
Just wondering if someone could please help me out with this please, I'm using the free download Sketchup and notice that I can't export the files to PDF format unless I'm using Sketchup pro. Is there anyway possible I can export or convert my sketchup drawings to PDF format?
Thanks

So if you have the free SU then i guess you are not talking about 2d schematics pdf, from Layout.
The only way i know to export pdf form sketchup is using this plugin form here:http://www.simlab-soft.com/3d-plugins/3D-PDF-from-sketchup-main.aspx

For 2D
Key "Print Screen"
Then Edit / past in OOO Writer then export as PDF

The free PDF Creator installs as a printer:

Note that the PDF Export in the Pro version produces a 2D vector graphic export, and does not include shadows or textures. When using a PDF printer, a similar result is obtained when you check the "Use high-accuracy HLR" checkbox in the Print dialog (On a Mac it reads something different but works the same).

Garfield, Google, download, and install a printer driver that prints a pdf. Not sure if the above are printer drivers.
