My first model and render

Hello,
I am new on this forum and I would like to show you my first model of modern lamp which I have made yesterday. It is also my first model ever I have made and first in sketchup.

Maybe next time don't let the studio setup show in the render
My last question - could you show the light from the lamp? Hopefully that will that be in your next set of renders? Good luck! -

Yes, this would be the more interesting part; to see how the light comes through those transparent balls or what. If you experiment with this, make sure to use some higher presets in Kerkythea (and if it takes rather long, render smaller images instead for testing)

How do you stop it showing at various angles, is there a trick to this?

For the still renders, you could make the physical studio bigger so the edges don't show, or you could rotate the model within the studio for each shot. The animation would be trickier - you'd have to make an enclosed studio, and make your animation inside (but I'm not familiar with Kerkythea animations so that may or may not work.)

And what if you turn the whole studio into a face-me component which rotates with the camera while you are "flying around" the object?
