Opening skp. files to open in Photoshop
-
How can I save skp. files to enable me to open them in Photoshop Elements 7
-
If you want a 2D image, go to file > Export > 2D graphic, and choose your format.
If you want to import 3D into Photoshop (I've heard it's possible now), wait for a Photoshopper to chime in, as I use GIMP.

To the best of my knowledge, PS CS4 Extended allows import and export of OBJ, U3D, KMZ, Collada and 3DS models import.
It is possible to edit textures on 3D model in PS CS3, I think. Not sure if you could do anything with Photoshop Elements 7, at least in 3D. -

If i remember correctly elements is a cut down version of the full photoshop, so it seems unlikely that youd be able to open a 3d model in it.
