For anyone looking for a high end (parametric) CAD system to run alongside Sketchup at an affordable price. (For a while anway...)

Nice price for that. It does have an exporter for SketchUp that worked well for the simple models I made using the free version of Alibre.

          Great app, and amazing price.

Thanks for the heads up, get it while it's hot.

(must be a new version on the horizon for this to go at such a price)

Does anyone know if this program is good for designing buildings? I want to be able to make blueprints and print to scale - similar to Layout for Sketchup, I guess.

DoubleCAD is a good free start.
