Hi all,
I stumbled on this new product when browsing the Digitalurban blogspot (nice resource by the way!) and it looks promising:
A standalone virtual world builder with what seems a parametric populating system for buildings, roads, trees etc.
It has a real time HDR lighting system and imports your models straight from SU.Here's the link: http://sketchworlds.com

I've seen it already and have been tempted for a while to try out (the free version first, of course) but then never had the time. Have you checked it out, Chris?

Just been reading about this on digital urban, I haven't downloaded it yet but if it is simple to use and the free version has enough features I think it will become a popular tool (not sure if I could justifying buying a full version). I have looked at other free options and none were that easy to use.

I think this page should answer your question Chris http://www.sketchworlds.com/download/ I could be wrong but I think Coen mentioned this app / system, or one very like it, to me some time ago. I think the guy behind it is based in The Netherlands!

Hi Guys,
I've watched the vids and am now sure it was the app that Coen is familiar with. I also find that the Viewer is an .exe file so would mean hassle for Mac users having to work via Win
