i extended the scene by adding a small village and a bridge crossing the river.

Looking good, but wouldn't you want to move it to the top of the ridge? Otherwise, a besieging army can rain arrows down into the castle.

but the conservation officer would never allow a developement up there, it would ruin the horizon line!
