Want to make an exporter

Hello friends. I am looking for help/tutorials for making a sketchup to WinOSi exporter. I have completed the Ruby tutorials at Google Code and am wanting to do an exporter. Any help/pointers would be appreciated.

Not impossible though.
Perhaps have a look at SU2KT and skindigo for ideas on how to go about writing an exporter.
