[Request] - Scene Tabs
-
is it possible to extend scenes onto a new tab row ?
Also what is progress of scene groups how do they work ?
-
I was just wondering about the possibility of making additional rows of scene tabs, too. Is that a possibility?

An extra row of scene tabs is not possible through ruby.
But it would be possible to make an entirely new scene manager through webdialogs that could be organized an possible way. But Webdialogs seem to give everyone lots of headaches because they work differently on Macs and PC's.

Sorry I meant to answer this in the previous post. It is difficult to tell how long this will take. I can sometimes get stuck on a method for days, but, how they work, in general terms you will be able to add and name scenes, groupings and collections and then click on them or components in the SU display you require included. You will be able to add a component to any number of groupings or collections (each doesn't get stuck in a layer). More than that I cannot say right now, but I would be interested in your comments and suggestions so far.

Here is a shot of the functionality I am working on. This would allow a practically infinite number of scenes which will be expanded and collapsed in the normal way (not yet shown) based on the scene on the focus line.
This part is easy but how to make collections or groups of scenes, as with components, requires some time to work through necessary amendments to the interface, together with SU display/ web dialog interaction. I am working on these*.

Don't think about this unless you use a Mac. Anyway it will be solved; maybe not here.
By the way, how many members actually use a Mac? A useful statistic for the politicians among us I think.
Keep in touch
