Curved surface

I am trying to create a curved surface but am having a little fifficulty with the curved section as per my attachment, and would be grateful for some assistance

Here is a quick video that shows how you could do it. Note that I am testing some things and when they don't work how I want, I hit ctrl-z for undo quite a few times. So when geometry quickly re-appears on the screen, that is why.
Also, your geometry was different on each end of the object. So it was a little trickier than necessary (hence all the undos). Anyhow, hope it helps,
