      Hello!

This is my first post, and I'm glad to participate in this community. I would like to do a toothbrush, but I cannot imagine how to do the hairs part.

Can you give me any ideas or plugin to accomplished this? I'm a beginner in 3D modeling.

      Thanks in advance.

instead of modelling the bristles you be better off making a block and applying a texture that has transparency

note: for the transparency to work you would need to use an external renderer....

You can try something like this, see attached skp, but I would lower the arc segments so it wouldn't be so high poly, if you turn on hidden geometry, you'll see what I mean.
@ lucifer, thats not exactly right about an external renderer, SU accepts transparent pngs and if you were refering to getting somewhat correct shadows you can cut around the image by hand or use Rick W image profile plugin
