Who posts the most?

Solo: 4030 post so far It is 10 times more than me
Gaieus: .... 10832!
Of course the number of posts is also a function of a time since registration, but I bet moderators spent a lot of time of the forum in comparison to others. -
As a very broad generalisation i'd say moderators tend to be more chatty and so tend to increase their average number of posts like that.

http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/memberlist.php?mode=&sk=d&sd=d#memberlist
Check that out. That is the memeberlist ordered by amount of posts per user. That's where I found my info about sketchucation being so international. Many of the top posters are from a variety of countries.

@Chris:
I don't think everyone has access to that. I just tried and was refused. Or maybe I am the only one denied access to that. I have noticed lately that I lose login status for no apparent reason, from time to time. It gets frustrating in the middle of composing my posts, which are always so deeply philosophical and very important for everyone to read, you know. -
Hmm, I think that it is public.
Go to the main page. Towards the top, look for a "members" link. Click on it, then click on "Posts" and that will sort the memebers by post count. But its starts with zero posts. So then click on Posts again to sort it from Highest to lowest. That is the link I provided. I'd be interested if someone can verify if the link works for them, or if at least you can get there manually as described?

Chris, access to the memberslist is currently restricted, so most wont be able to see it. I imagine you still can as your the DC mod.
-
The members list is definitely public, or at least I can see it.
Like Chris says, it's in the list at the top of the forum, just like always.
-
Hmmm, very mysterious. It definetly isnt there on my test account. I wonder if it's something to do with the UGs your signed up to ponder
-
Preliminary testing seems to show that users of the foreign forums can still look at the members list.
-
Interesting. Perhaps your test account needs to be validated somehow first?
For those who can't get to it, here is a screenshot

I see that Solo has changed his job to rub everyone's noses it in.
I guess that I'm a careful poster that chooses when to stick his oar in.
-
It's a prize for winning the challenge, it isn't self-assigned (only the admin can change those titles.)
edit: sorry for going so wildly off topic.
-
ooops!
Sorry Solo.
-
Pete's not that vain! The most recent SCF challenge winner is always allocated a temporary celebratory status/title until the next challenge is concluded.

Hm...
Upon request for more privacy (like who is/was online and such), we disabled member listing and viewing profiles for "registered users" (that's the default name for someone who registers on the board). What I think the case is that when we crated the different usergroups (like FL groups for instance), we used this registered members' permission set to start with and only add permissions (like seing the FL forums). But from then on, it is already a different permission set and no matter that we changed it for registered users, FL users may still see it.
@Jackson; you are special, you know, since you used to be a moderator and who knows where and how you got stuck in being able to see these details.
@mitcorb - sorry to hear that but it definitely has nothing to do with this. Sessions (the length of time you are not logged out automatically without any activity) is set to 60 minutes which means that even if you don't do anything (and go to watch your favourite soap opera), SCF won't log you out for a whole hour. Normally. There has to be something else.
@me (and also Remus) we shouldn't talk too much...
-
I didn't even mean that. To you personally I was just explaining this log-off thing (and about the access it was really for everyone).
I'm not sure if this is good this way as I haven't really felt the need to think about it since I can access this data. (What even I - or anyone else without hacking the database - cannot access of course is members passwords, PM's, friends & foes and all this "personal" info).
-
Now, Gaieus:
You know I wasn't really complaining about access to that link. It is probably important for everyone's comfort level.
I was just throwing in a little "humor" to remind myself about my importance.
Best Wishes,
mitcorbEDIT: The other matter regarding spontaneous disconnect: It may have something to do with my network, it may have to do with the forum controls. Seems to happen after navigating among "your posts", "active topics" and the other links at the top of the page. Even though it says Logout: mitcorb, if I click on a video or topic link in one of the posts, I will get the "not permitted" notice, then I do a page refresh to discover I am not logged in.
I did not really mean to get off topic, so move this to the appropriate forum, please.
-
I sure like being able to see the memeber's list. I'd hate to lose that ability.
-
... I'm still not even to 500 posts yet 2 more to go.
