Incircle and circumcircle
-
I hope this will be read by SketchUp developers: I do not want too great demands but this is only a very moderate enhancement of a function that does already exist. I think it is in line with Sketchup's principles of ease of use and does not require more than half an hour to be added to Sketchup's code:
Tools have this powerful variants when you press ctrl, shift or alt. But the circle tool doesn't have any options yet. When I draw a circle, the radius goes to the corner (this polygon would be inside a real circle). When I want to draw the polygon outside the real circle (where the radius goes to the edges' midpoints), it's very complicated.
So I would like to press alt or ctrl and draw the circumcircle.

While I see what you are after, Tom, Shift is currently used to lock the circle tool on a specific plane. Since it's a general mod. key in SU for all other tools where it can be applied, I doubt that Shift specifically should be used for this.
Maybe another key?
