hey i just installed sketch up on my machine and its been a while since i stop using 3ds max "highschool" but please, please tell me there a way to have several views going at once ""top, left, rigth ya know"" also when i set for something to be an exact size in my case "4'x 2' "" bearded dragon enclosure"" its never an exact size any help would be awesome.
thanx the name is oscar ill be here often -
Welcome Oscar! In SketchUp, there is no way to do that. You pretty much always work in perspective mode. I think it is set up like this because it is so much easier to navigate than 3dsmax that you will find you don't really need to have 4 views going all the time.
While you are drawing, watch the bottom right corner in the measurements box. It shows the dimensions. So if you draw a rectangle, it shows how big it is. Try this, draw a rectangle of any size. Then immediately after drawing it, type 4',6' and hit enter. You don't need to click on the measurements box first. That is how you can get precise measurements in SketchUp.
I hope that makes sense. check out the videos on youTube also. I think there are some good intro to SketchUp videos there.

really quick last question i wanna clear the guides i have and put some for new ones?

If you mean guide lines and points (aka construction geometry, the dotted ones), you can always delete all existing guides in the Edit menu. Then just use the Tape measure tool or the Protractor to set up new ones.
